Thanks for the updates.

Max is playing Larry one-hole, I presume? Is it even, or are there any spots involved!

Go Genie Man! :)

I guess I will have to call up Ryan to find out what the game is between Larry and Max.

If they are playing 9-ball, Max ain't got a chance, but if they are playing one-hole, I'd bet the house on Max!

Wow, sounds like a FANTASTIC tournament. Though 41 players showed up, first place pays out $3,400, and then there's the Calcutta! Larry Nevel bought himself in the Calcutta for a whopping $800. Now, that's what I call confidence! :D

Larry is spotting Max two balls, 9 to 7, in one-pocket. I have to like Max in this one.

Matt Clutterbuck spotted Chewing Tobacco the 7 in 9-ball and came with a loss.

Action Jackson in Maryland this weekend!

GO RYAN! :)

Update

1st place Kevin West $3100.00
2nd place Larry Nevel $1500.00
3rd place Danny Bell $750.00
4th place Ryan Mccreash $380.00
5-6 place Shawn Toni $200.00
5-6 place Chewinbaccco $200.00

Not bad payouts.... Max's game never took off.... Jeff Abernathy beat some guy out of 3 Thousand..... They played race to 15 for a Thousand..
He wins three sets..... As we speak Ryan Mcreash is playing Larry Nevel 10 Ball getting the free 8 in a 8 ahead.. For a Thousand ,,,,, I personally hope Ryan gets the money... For a pro player Larry sure does have a temper.... Ryan is 6 ahead right now...

Free 8 ????????

Could you explain this one?

Nice size wagers there. Should be great for the railbirds.

Is this with the Calcutta? Just curious as to what the entry fee was?

Huge and I mean huge difference from first on down in the payouts.

Payouts

Yes that did include calcutta.... And yes the payouts were top heavy because that is a great calling card to get good players...... Spectators love to watch great players...... I had my self in clacutta... I finished third.. That was a big big difference in payout from first... But I feel that if a player shoots his heart out, he should get paid.... So making the payouts top heavy is how i feel all Tournaments should be done....... It has also worked great for all the Tournaments I have ran..

Know Chew is not back in action... He is a real good guy, and a great guy to gamble with...

I've always called him just chewbacca like the star wars fellow instead of chewin tobacco, I wish I had his break but then so do alot of people.

played on big table for 5000. chew won.

Perhaps Chew could pay Shannon Daulton, Mike Coltrain, and myself the 4300 he owes us for the golf match that he split out on.

corvette you always post on az about a past debt with derek over a golf match and its none of my business.(although i have been told you were brought into the match and told derek and his partner that you shot around 90-100 and if that wasn't true after the match then derek and his partner didn't have to pay) and they took ya'll up on this option. is that how it happened or not. for the record i would love to play some golf (i dont know you nor you me) but i will post up and play some with you to show you some gamble and i'll meet you halfway between wherever you are and greensboro n.c. if it will make it happen) you can feel free to pm and i'll be glad to work it out if you would like to gamble. and none of this"ive got someone who will gamble" this is me against you if you want to gamble. tell me when and for how much.

No, thats not how it happened at all. Shannon knew Chew and the other guy playing and set the match up. They knew that I was pretty good at golf from the start. We had about 30 min. of crying about matching up before the round. Ultimately we agreed on 300 per hole but we had 2 different matches going on with Derek and the other guy. Myself, Shannon, and Train played Lauderdale against each of the other two who were getting to play lauderdale with themselves (two balls each). Im not sure if you are familiar with the golf games of Shannon and Train, but needless to say I tried to lay down early but had to play to win any amount. Anyway, the 16th hole at Ashboro country club is a par 5 with trees down the right and 17 coming back the other way. We teed off and hit our down the correct fairway and then Derek and his partner hit theirs down 17 fairway. No big deal, makes the hole shorter and home course advantage should be worth something. We went and hit our second shots around the green and then drove up expecting their second shots to be coming in and we looked and they were hauling ass up the hill toward the club house. They just left the carts in the parking lot and got in their cars and left. Very classy move indeed. As for the golf game with you, any time any place my friend for as much as you can fit in your golf bag.

i responded to your pm prior to reading this. but since its out here now, when and where(im off work on wed-fridays) and im not a woofer, im gonna back my talk up,im not a champion or even a really good player but i'll try you some even match play for 200 hole. i like to gamble and i do play good enough that im not gonna lose more than 6 to 8 holes before i see that i cant win. but i might beat you 6 to 8 holes and i promise ill get back on az and eat crow if i lose, i just hope you will do the same. let me know when and where.
