Looks like it would have to have something vintage, and very experienced inside, and I would expect maybe a long haired older gentleman to be carrying.... one I avoid gambling with.

Unknown who made it. I brought it used with a cue. The carving is first class and the silver latch is a super nice touch of Class!!

Not trying to be a jerk, because I think the case is beautiful and worth what you're asking, but if you don't know who made it how do you know it would retail at $500?

I did carving for a number of yr's in L. A.. I know a number of leather worker's.
Also The guy who I brought the case said He paid $525 for the case.
But I forgot who he said make it! I have no reason not to believe Him, he
was spot on for what he paid for the cue.

No divider. The case holds the cue and the shaft real tight. They don't move.
