Super Billiards Expo 2013 Finals Van Boening Vs. Hohmann

SBE Finals commentary

I hate to beat a dead horse, but what gives with the commentary in the SBE finals?????

I'm watching it now. Do the commentators realize that the viewer is trying to watch the match? We're in the 6th rack and so far all they've done is jabber on about anything except what's happening on the table.

I guess at a minor event like SBE they can't get anyone who knows how to do commentary.

I think they screwed-up during the upload, all I see is SVB playing one of the Village People.

Public Service Announcement, do not ask this guy to wax your shaft !!!!!!

Im not sure who was commentating at the point you are talking about.I took over in the second set at about 2:05:00 or so with Hunter.

Hi Bobby,

IMHO you saved the match. I seriously don't think I could have made it through the second and third set without a change in commentators. But, you know, I really didn't need to hear from Hunter about why he lost his match, what he needs to improve, what he's going to be doing in NY, and on and on. It would be great conversation over a drink...but I'm trying to focus on a match being played by two of the top players in the world.

If I'd been in the stands and that conversation was going on behind me, I'd have respectfully said, "could you guys take your conversation somewhere else? We're trying to watch this match."

Thank you very much for coming in when you did. I don't think I could have taken much more.

Thanks for the kind words and I look forward to more commentary and the whole final match being posted to see the great finish by these 2 champions.
