Hello all, here are three of my basic cues that are going to the expo in a few days. I don't have any of the inlayed cues wrapped yet, I will post some pics when they are done. The top cue is curly maple with a wildwoods grey curly maple handle. The second cue is ebony that has a beautiful brown streak to give the forarm and butt sleeve some chracter. The cue is accented with malachite rings and a black/brown streaked stack leather wrap. The third cue is dark birdseye maple with a highly figured cocobolo handle. The pictures don't do the cues justice, they are just fantastic pieces of wood. Stop by the booth if you make it to the show. Chris Byrne.

I love your choice of woods on those cues...lotsa figure! I don't think many cue users appreciate the difficulty in obtaining super figured hardwoods.

It is nice to see someone appreciate that ebony does not always have to be totally black. And that coco handle . . . . "that's HAWT!!"

Thanks Guys. I like ebony with streaks on my cues, If the cue is inlayed I go black so the inlays are what stands out. If I make a plain cue I really like the wood to show some chracter. See everyone at the expo. Chris.
