Super Typhoon Haiyan - I am asking for help...

By now, everyone have heard about the Super Typhoon Haiyan (aka Yolanda locally) that devastated the city of Tacloban in the Philippines. That city is my home town and place of birth.

My family (Mom and Sister's Family of 4 [bottom left pic on the donation page]) and my immediate relatives(9) all survive the dreadful ordeal. I'm now in the process of moving them out of Tacloban and into Manila until the mess is cleared.

I was able to find 2 brave guys (Father and Son) to drive a 9 seater van from Manila to Tacloban (850 km journey) and back to pickup my family and other relatives who wants to get out for awhile.

I am running short of funds and humbly asking for your help.

The link below is a donation page setup by my cousin in the US... Thank you very much in advance and God bless...

Just sent $50 to you via PayPal. The PayPal link made it easier for me to send.

Wishing you and your loved ones all the very best.

Thx to Joe Tucker and the other anonymous donors. Every bit of help counts. My deepest gratitude to everyone that helped and prayed for their safety...

Update: My Mom and Sis (family) are now in Manila after an 860km land trip that took 1.5days. The supplies that was intended for them was shared with relatives and neighbors who were badly in need of water and food. They will be resting first and gather themselves and decide if they will start a new life in Manila or return back to Tacloban.

I just sent a little, hope it comes in handy. Best of luck to you and your family and friends.

Long delayed update...

I returned back to my devastated home town and help out my Mom and Sister and her family who decided to return back and rebuild their lives in the city we grew up in...

I didn't dare to take pictures as I can't muster to see such appalling situation even after 3 months since the devastating disaster...

My sincerest thanks to everyone who has helped and are continuing to help... Every little thing counts and when put together becomes a huge help...

Thank you...
