Airbarrell alert

I was aired by the cook, David Hill for $40. Just to let everyone know he is not good action.

This is no knock to the room as The Rack is a great pool room. The owner Jerry was good for action and has a little woof left in him as well. Also, congratulations to Danny Smith for some stellar play and for showing gamble often during the weekend.

Cook looked to be hopped up on something. He looked like he was about to have a heart attack. What a fking idiot.

Yes Danny played really well, I noticed he played (used) alot of 1pocket safties when they came into play, that was refreshing for a 9-Ball game.

That Nick Vita broke and run a 4 pack early on in the tournament, that looked pretty strong considering those diamond tables there where spittin' balls like a farmer on chewing tobacco!

I noticed that the players that did the best, played table speed shots, the cream always rises to the top!

I watched the whole 48 hours via the stream, there were multi table choices to view, which was something new, some tables streams weren't that great of quality, but ok, and one table was high quality, not hardly any information about the matches & no commentary, Josh was running the streams and doing other things too by himself, but all-in-all being the first time out for streaming, it was good, if you over looked the rough edges! I enjoyed myself!

I like Pinegar's game. I've seen him play as well as anyone in the world on the big tables too. A couple of more years and Jon will be in the big time.

He did pretty good gambling at DCC this year, too.

Does anyone know if there is a list of where everyone finished?
Danny's game has picked up a bunch since I first seen him play when he moved to chattanooga.

How much did henny end up winning this year at the derby?

Whatever he won, he was probably lucky to cover his expenses for the tournament, like most of the top players.

hennesse played great as usual in memphis...he survived back to back double hill matches against josh oneil and slivka and came with it when he had too...i think this has been the best superbowl tournament there since they went to big tables...strong field this year with 4 or 5 champions there and one of the few tournaments that guarantee the prize money no matter what...i thought this tournament was dead when they took out the bar tables but i was wrong....i expect it to be even better in the years to come

I agree with you railbird. The Midnight Madness was fun to sweat and i loved all the Sunday barbox tournaments for anyone not still in the big tourney. Seemed less smokey in there this year too. Overall it was a great tournament and there were plenty of capable players in the field.
