Are pool players a superstitious group? At the table luck only occurs when something good happens for our opponents (and we all know that...). What I mean is, is there, or art there "rituals," or are there things that you do that if you don't do it just doesn't feel right. Before it's your turn at the table do have to take a drink, and if it's a particularly hard shot do you take two drinks and swish around the second one? or do you tap your beer mug with your wedding ring? something like that? Something that you might consider part of your pre-shot routine that is unique to you? If you talk about it will it jinx you? Do you have lucky socks or t-shirt? Is there something in your case that maybe you don't (or do) show but you have to have it with you? If you have to mark your 8 Ball pocket is there only one marker that you're comfortable using? I knew one guy that wouldn't break if you racked the 13 in front. He'd ask you to rerack until you moved the 13. Anyone?... Anyone?....
