The cue is beautiful, better than I'd hoped for! Can't find a flaw on it anywhere, the worksmanship is impeccable. Another beautiful cue coming from Jackson, I love it!
Thanks once again for another awesome cue!
There are some very special Cash cues coming in a few days. Those who are already on the list have been contacted and provided with the new information. Stay tuned!
Everyone here at Thoroughbred and World Class appreciate the things AZ does for us all. We have been kicking around some ideas about how to help, and we came up with this way to give back to our community.
These cues were created expressly to raise funds for Az. How are we going to do that? Every 5th cue will be donated to Az to do with what they see fit as a way to raise funds for their endeavors.
The cues are made here in Jackson, TN, in our shop, under the supervision of the master cue makers Jess June, Tommy Clements, and Tony Clifton. Each cue will carry the $ insignia, representing the main focus of the cues, raising money for AZ.
The cues start out with aged, selected woods form the inventory of Bill McDaniel's old stock. Then they are carefully assembled to the same exacting tolerances as a World Class or Thoroughbred cue. They receive the same highest quality ,tried and true UV finish that has proved both durable and reliable for the last twenty years, holding the mirror like shine for decades.
To add extra value to an already great deal, we decided to hot rod them up a little with the addition of Ivory ferrules and genuine Elephant Ear wraps, unless they have exotic wood handles. The shafts are quality, straight grained maple with very little sugar spots. We also tried to add a variety of joint configurations to offer something for every one's taste.
Next batch due out this week, posting pics soon of some new and exciting cues from the Jackson shop!
