While this might be interesting...at least for a short while, it would not be helpful. Different instructors teach different strokes and listeners would have to sift thru contradictory advice all the time. It's like that famous golf quote, "99% of the tips in Golf Magazine are correct and true. The problem is that most of them don't apply to you."what about a pool podcast that is based only on the subject of getting better, ala, instruction? That would be interesting and maybe just maybe you could get a tip or two out of who the guests are "IF" they are instructors... theres nothing like that on the net now anyway....
From the annals of "Fat Boy!!"FATBOY SPEAKS
Sad but true. Generalities are all too few. While this might be interesting...at least for a short while, it would not be helpful. I’ve pondered doing something with the Fatboy brand/ I did the 10’ tourneys at Derby with Greg and they were fantastic.
I only ask this question because everyone is so hyper sensitive to words these days I don’t want to use a word that will be counterproductive in any marketing campaigns.
So because I’m out of touch with the current parlance of our times. I’m asking everyone here to please answer this. Even if you hate me, that’s ok. Your voice matters more. If you love me, you matter too.
I’m in a spot in my life where I have the time, connections, and other biz related things to turn Fatboy into a brand. A brand which can manufacture, resell, invent new products related to pool for residential and commercial types of applications. Tables, cues, cases, etc etc etc.
I’ve never been on FB in my life or any social media but here. And I’ve been successful on AZB, I feel as though I could be successful on larger platforms. Sure there’s more competition to get clicks, but Fatboy creates good content & id be competitive there. (I just don’t want the personal attention).
However if I were to launch a brand Fatboy or Fatboy’s (something ) is that name cool these days
I’m biased as it’s my nickname and I like it when people call me Fatboy.
Thanks for the feed back
Fatboy<———while not PC , ok possibly the lease PC person, I wouldn’t market a name brand out side the lines. I’m smart enough to play fair and by the rules & norms of society
F him lolTHE REAL FB……..may be sued by Z’berg
If it was good enough for Minnesota Fats and Harley Davidson, I think you'll be fine.I’ve pondered doing something with the Fatboy brand/ I did the 10’ tourneys at Derby with Greg and they were fantastic.
