SVB Hotel Room Broken Into!

That sucks

Easy to put cash in your pocket and a watch without being seen. A bag and cues connect you with the crime. Anyone can say it’s their watch unless it was engraved. It sucks you can’t trust leaving stuff in your room, but that’s life in 2018 and that’s why each room has a safe. Sorry you lost your cash but man you gotta use the safe and if they don’t have one don’t trust the maid making a minimum wage, take it with you.
 
Well, putting the used deodorant and $4K watch aside (I have an expensive watch, but I actually wear it)-

I find it a bit weird that anyone would leave $2K unsecured in a hotel room.

Not judging, just think that is weird.
 
I just got back home after doing the live streaming for the Wyoming Open. I will tell you that the people of Saratoga are really awesome and super nice. It is a small town with lots of character. I look forward to it every year. The pros are treated well usually all given comped rooms among other compensation. Not many events do what EJ Glode and Monte Thayer do for the players.

I would think an outsider who is in the pool community did it, possibly someone following him on social media. Could also have been the hired help. I hope they find whoever did this. Shane was upset about it and spoke about it when he came by where myself and some of the other people were staying. I do hope he will return.

Thanks for that stream Lenny, I watched what I could throughout the weekend and ended up watching all of it...some delayed.

What great 8-ball Johnny Archer played! Really flawless. Corey Deuel played nearly perfectly as well. I think my 8-ball game jumped a bit just watching those two.

Great tournament and I hope I can make it there one of these years.
