Shane and most of the other world's top players practice one-pocket a lot more now.
Tony's not good enough to beat Shane anymore lol.
Just because you specialize in something doesn't mean you can out shoot an overall World Champion.
Ask young Fedor Gorst what he thinks of one-pocket "specialists" lol.
Or Josh Filler. Josh was toying with Tony when they last played a long set. He embarrassed Tony...
T-Rex is great, but he is too aggressive to match up with run out studs like SVB

the other matches they had were closer in time to shanes DCC one pocket wins though. shane doesn't like the game but he's damn good at it. tony's game may have peaked.

It ain’t over till it’s over! A lot of pool still to be played.
I’m still here in Vegas and was set to do some commentary on this match…….until I caught a dose of Covid. Bad cough and very sore throat, confined to quarters in my hotel room. Seems to be subsiding but I won’t be going to the poolroom.

What? Only one price for the whole thing? If so they are just shooting themselves in the foot.
That is all I saw yesterday. At most I was only going to watch one evening. Maybe 1 1/2. Don't have time this week to spend three nights for 4-6 hours sitting in front of the screen.

Agree. I watch one pocket on PoolActionTV and it's much more reasonably priced. I've never watched these guys for that reason. Their price will have to come down before I'll get on board. It would take better pricing and/or a package deal that covers multiple events at a substantially lower cost.

how much is the ppv? $35? way more than i would pay. I wonder if it sold for $5 if 7x more people would buy it… probably not. i would buy it for $5 though.

The same reason it takes a few tries to win against a carny. You need to learn the game.

Alex and Shane and at least 5 other guys will just spank Tony at this point.

Tony is an excellent player, but like most Americans, he replies on haymakers instead of discipline and fundamentals. GG
How about name the "at least 5 other guys", besides Dennis Orcollo, who Tony would have no chance with?

If recent circumstances would have been a little different, Shane would not even play this match.

There is a very good reason why Omega is doing the streaming and not a more reputable outfit.

The early bird price was $24.95 for all 3 days, including access for some period of time (a week?) to re-loops of all 3 days. I don't remember when the early-bird price expired, but I think the 3-day price then went up by $10. The price now, for 2 days live plus access to all 3 days of re-loops, is $24.95.

edit -- they said on the stream Thursday that the re-loops are available for 5 days. I don't know whether that means all 3 days of re-loops are available for 5 more days after the match ends (i.e., through Dec. 13), or something else.

Dennis, Alex, Shane, Fedor, Filler. Several others are close. I'm not sure about no chance though.

We already excluded Dennis and Alex in the previous posts.

Since Tony is supposedly all washed up, just looking for a few players who could rob him on the main table in New Orleans.

By the way, is Shane still refusing to play there even if Buff makes it no smoking for the event?

Do the balls look a tad high on the rack in the overhead? Or is it a camera thing?
