SVB vs. JoeyA

There's some others in there that should be VERY interesting to watch... like... Cliff v. John... Sylver v. Thorsten... Alex v. Efren... and Santos v. Danny H.

well . . .

I just checked out the One Pocket Round 5 brackets and noticed that SVB and our own JoeyA are matched up!

Who has the line on this one? :p

One pocket is Joey's best game and possibly Shane's worst. Race to three it is anybody's match. If I knew how Joey has been playing since he hit the Derby I'd bet a little on him. Shane shoots better, Joey will outmove him if he gets a chance. He may not get much chance in this short race.

I personally witnessed JoeyA beat Ronnie Alcano at Q-Masters at even 1 hole ;D Go JoeyA!

I think AZBer Lou Figueroa is till in the 1P also.

*Update: JoeyA. won the first game against SVB, Shane won the second game, JoeyA. had 5 balls in game #3 and went for a bank and missed and Shane ran out. JoeyA. also had 5 balls made in game #4 and he hung his banked ball in his pocket. Shane had a ball in the jaws of his own pocket and as I like to say "that's all she wrote billy goat"....SVB 3-1
JoeyA. made it to round 5 and I'm not sure if that's in the money or not.

JoayA. is also entered in the 9 ball event and plays his first match tonite......

Way to go Joey and Lou! I see one of our local guys, Bob Keller, got Mark Tadd in the first round (and the fourth round???), that's a tough draw.

according to AZ front page Shane won... He is making pretty good progress in 1P, eh?

Watching Shane playing one pocket on the live feed for the last couple of days, has been like watching a sponge soak up water. The man was made for pool, and he is learning this game quickly.

I hope JoeyA can post here how the game went and maybe give us his overall impressions of SVB's One Pocket game.
