SVB's Stroke

As long as his ferrule follows straight-through and he gets decent CB action...

P.S. Look at JA's stroke. In the final backstroke, he raises his elbow and moves his upper arm a bit up before delivering the cue. Hey he's won 2 world champs, what do I know?

Has anyone else noticed the difference in his hand position on the cue from 2007 till now?

If you can go back and watch the 2007 U.S. Open or the early TAR matches, his hand was in a "normal" position, meaning his grip hand wrist was in a neutral position.

If you watch his stroke now,his wrist seems to be cocked forward, where that waggle may be his way of compensating for lack of motion range in his wrist.

It could also be the difference in feel between his mom's old Schon and the CueTec he's playing with now causing the difference in his stroke.

I'm not saying he's not strong as hell now,but going back to earlier in his prominence he seemed to be hitting the balls better PHYSICALLY than he is now. Tommy D.

Now that YouTube has finally released my video from copyright Hell ...

Shane's stroke

Sorry for the moving camera, I was right next to the table and we were all chatting so it was hard to keep him in frame.

"This video contains content from WMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
Sorry about that."

That's what I got after clicking on the link...:(

Hmm ... must still be blocked in the US then. Oh well, I will have to upload it again with no sound.

I'm secretly making TRILLIONS of dollars by having music in there. I just added it because there were private conversations going on that no one needs to hear. YouTube and whatever the current, "OMG you can't have musak!!" copyright corporation thinks I am stealing Ferraris from the artists.
