Why doesn't this cue have a number and only one shaft? I thought the only Southwest cues without numbers were Jerry Franklins and I also thought all Southwest came with two shafts unless your keeping one?

I'm an idiot and cannot answer any of those questions. It's a Satin. There is only one shaft. That's all I can tell you.

BTW I've gotten many offers via PM but nothing has sparked my interest yet.

The South West Satin cues are what Jerry called "pacifier cues" for customers waiting for their order. They stopped making them several years ago, but Laurie decided to make a batch a couple of years ago. No cactus. No number. One shaft. Excellent cue and IMO, a collector's item.

Satins are not numbered on the pin. They are numbered inside the butt sleeve, if any.

Hal, how bout one $1700 lottery ticket for Barton's case he just listed. You like dragons, right? It says redeemable in China. :)

Sean (likes dragons...and that's a great looking case....wish I was going to the expo to see it)

They also come with one shaft. Remos, don't worry, this cue is completely legit !!

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm still on the fence deciding whether or not to get rid of this cue.

But like I said if something I like is offered, I may just jump on it.

Cueaddicts, that case is nice but not really my style.

So What

What someone paid for a cue vis-a-vis current selling price is irrelevant. A seller sets a selling price, the prospective buyer can proceed accordingly to determine the value relative to them. In other words, it is none of your damn business what Hal paid for the cue, and it is rude and disrespectful to comment as such in his thread.

You don't remember correctly and I sold it for more than $1125. Hal should know - he bought it. I never even listed it for $1125.

If you're pissed about your raffle thread, keep it in there. Don't hurt another man's thread.

Are you kidding with this ridiculous post. You have a Southwest on raffle that is overpriced and you have the nerve to come on this thread with that ridiculous BS.
What are you gonna do, rip off all you rafflees, collect your 3 grand, then turn around and offer Hal 1125 for his cue?

Sorry for the rant Hal, i tried to stay calm, but i just couldnt control myself over the nerve of this guy. good luck selling your cue.
