I live in Vegas and spoke to this guy he told me 3,500.00 with the certificate, he also said it would take two weeks to get the authentification from SW, I know Laurie quite well and never heard of a certificate costing 500.00.
 
I would just about bet it is manny (barrosm) az name he has been banned if i am not mistaken.

btw I was wondering...How would a Franklin #3 cue be pinned? 96(97)-003? or is he implying that it's
the 3rd cue built by the modern South West ? maybe it's the third cue built by Jerry while DPK was there.. OR perhaps the 3rd cue they build together<== I'd would find a way to buy that one! But I'm not sure how you'd EVER verify it. and what happened to Jerry's son? I had never heard mention of a son before reading that add. WHICH implied that the son could have helped with authentication. hmmmmmmm I'm just gonna pass on this one.:D

Laurie Franklin used to charge around $75 to authenticate a cue.

There is no "Franklin #3" cue.

He is in Vegas, SW is in Vegas....it would be a simple ride across town to authenticate.

It does not appear to be a SW cue to me...more like a Rick Howard.

It would be neat for one of our Las Vegas members to take him up on his offer to view it locally.
