Swanny

Anyone know what big names are going to be at the Swanny in Hollywood tomorrow?

Corey Deuel and all the top West Coasters. With the exception of Dave Hemmah, who will be home babysitting. lol

The defending champion from last year is Amar Kang with Tony Chohan finishing second. I also expect Scott Frost from Arizona this time. Should be a strong field of 192 players. All in two days...gasp!

The brackets are now posted on the main AZ page, check it out. Some great players!! Wish I was there, it's always a great tournament for a great player.

Wow, that is a very BIG field of players, Jay, with many pool greats in attendance.

Looks like Corey Duel is on the road. I heard it through the grapevine that several days ago, Corey Duel spotted a player 12 to 5 in one-hole and dropped 6 sand bags. Poor Corey has to give a huge spot if he wants to get played! :(

Looking forward to some updates. Pictures would be nice too, if possible! :p

It looks like Amar Kang did not attend this year's Swanny tourney.

I noticed Freddie Boggs from Vegas is in the house, though he didn't fare well on the winners' side. Ronnie Allen competed as well.

It requires several clicks to jump around the tournament brackets because it is so voluminous, but I ain't complaining. I like having the tournament brackets. It's definitely appreciated. :)

Tang Hoa and Kim Davenport also remain undefeated, as Tony Chohan.

I'm staying tuned for more tidbits! :p

Amar has a big stroke, we played some sets in Sactown. Went pretty good until he tried to sell me a fake rolex!
