Sweet Tooth has now moved right next door to a smaller room with only 2 9' Daimonds...Pretty much action only.
Stingers has moved from the other strip mall into where Sweet Tooth was and is in the process of modifying the room. Keeping Bar Box (7 foot Diamonds)...Adding a Dart Room and Dance Floor and smoker patio. Turning the counter into a wrap around Bar.
Oh and it looks like they are adding about 10 more wall TVs

Just my curiosity killing off one more of my 9 lives. Sweet Tooth is a great name for a pool hall.
Will it then be Stingers or Sweet Tooth? Will they have any 9-footers when completed? Will SweetTooth stay in smaller room with only 2 9-footers?

It will be Stingers...Sweet Tooth is now one door over and only has the two 9's (Great Back Room Action Tables)
Stingers will only have the 10 7' Daimonds.
It sounds like a business move. Mike couldnt serve alcohol and have poker in the same building. By splitting them up, he can now still do the poker and have action tables while having a bar right next door. Does anyone know if Mike is going to own stingers and sweet tooth?

Stingers with the 10 Diamond Bar Boxes will now be open from 6 a.m. - 2 a.m. every single day. They'll have 2 free poker tables like the current Stingers. They also will be offering a $3.99 breakfast every morning.
With Mike being more focused on Poker, the hours just didn't make sense to have alcohol. Therefore Sweet Tooth is next door now in a 1900 sq ft room with 3 poker tables and the 2 - 9' Diamond Pro's. The new Stingers is 7000 sq ft.
Stingers is also adding a huge walk-in cooler (today) that will have 24 beers on tap. Tomorrow the Grill and Hood is going in and all the great food that was already provided as Sweet Tooth will remain. The menu will be huge now. The old menu had tons of healthy options which is rare in pool rooms. Salads, Deli Sandwiches, etc.
The Bar will have 30-36 seats at it and they have 18 flat screens going in around the place. 10 or so around the building and the rest around the bar area.
We ran some ring games in there last night to show some of the new league players for the BCA League starting on Jan. 6th the room and will be doing it again next Wednesday, the 16th, if anyone wants to stop in between 6 - midnight.
Sweet Tooth has some poker leagues starting up and you can find the details on www.azpoolscene.com and click on the red banner in the top right corner.
The 9' Diamonds will be great action tables and I will be wiring up some stationary cameras and equipment for easy streaming of any challenge matches.
Sounds like the NEW Stinger will have it ALL. Hard Liquor and Wine in the future? BTW what is the Coin Drop/Game on the Diamonds?
Sounds like it will be a nice room, will make the trip when its done to see what it is like even though I do not get on the west side much. :smile:
They have hard liquor and wine as well. The diamond tables are $.75 and I'm working on the owner to provide hourly rates.
He also has 4 valley tables that he will be putting in the room at $.50/game which will be more focused for the bar crowd.
We already have plans in store for some big singles monthly events. We are going to announce 5 months worth of tournaments right out of the gates. Including working with the Desert Classic Tour on getting a tour stop in there. We'd do the AWBT, but they only do 9'.
Some of the big tournaments are, BCA Warm-up Singles (Men & Women's), BCA Warm-up Team, BCA Warm-up Scotch, 1st Annual Stingers Open, West vs East (Mosconi Cup Style), Ring Game Tournament, etc. etc....
I really hope that a DCT event happens there. As far as equipment goes, Sweet tooth had the best in the state! Hopefully this will bring some action that side of town!
