Is it open yet?

Hey Brady, no not open yet. I spoke with the owner a couple of days ago and he wasn't sure if they were going to meet their Feb 1st opening deadline. I hear its going to be a great place however they will have no adult beverages there. As we know you gotta have something special in this biz these days if you are going to do well without the additional $$ from booze & beer.

I don't drink so no problem there. I stopped by there and spoke with the owner before Christmas and he said they would be open by the first of the year. As he said that and I looked around in there I knew there would have to be a Christmas miracle for that to happen. I am excited for it to open. I think it is going to be a very nice place.

There is no doubt it will be a great place. Mike O'hara knows pool and how to run a pool hall. Just ask those that were around during the Casino Billiards days.

I believe someone on here said the tables were already delivered, so he is probably just putting the finishing touches on the place and getting all of his ducks in a row (permits, licenses, etc...)

Looking forward to another pool room in Phoenix for sure.

Are there enough tables to hold a DCT event there?

No, unfortunately not. We contacted Mike to discuss it; however, we were unable to secure a date for this year. He has a lot going on with the new opening right now. Hopefully, we will be able to get him in next year. The 2009 dates and locations are posted under the schedule link at http://www.DesertClassicTour.com
