Actually I'm thinking it was a very plain cue. I hadn't blown up the picture earlier, so I didn't see the date on it.

After seeing that November 24, 1980 date & the $167.92 price, and knowing the date & price on my Gus box (Sept. 5, 1980 & $232.29) was for my 4 point, 4 veneer, no inlay Brazilian Rosewood cue, I'd have to guess that this box originally contained an Ebony 4 point, no veneer cue, no inlay cue. :cool:

I heard the offer you put together....Pretty strong! I didn't think it could be had but hey--right place at the right time.
Gave some heavy ones for it though.

Just a hint for the rest.
That box only contained two new shafts when shipped......:D
