4 Ebony points with black/red/green/natural veneers into birdseye maple.
Cue is about 19.5 oz. Shafts have ivory ferrules and milk dud tips. One shaft has been test hit, one has had light play. 24 MOP inlays of notched diamonds and dots. Cue has "Buzz" ring and green speck wrap to copy Szamboti. Mike just made me a new cue and old growth(30-40 rings/inch) shafts for this cue. Iv'e played with alot of high end cues, and this one plays as good as it gets. Reduced $1250 shipped, extra if you want the(new) old growth shafts.

Bump To The Top For Great Hitting Cue And Honest Seller.
Thanks Kenny- I sold this cue a few months ago, then bought it back( I needed a player until my new Jensen arrived). Your right- this cue is a special player.

how much does mike charge for his old growth shafts? i stole a hoppe jensen with ivory joint for real cheap. it came with 4 shafts, 2 jensens and 2 randoms. one of the jensen shafts is darker in colour and looks like an old growth shaft, i figured those are expensive so i was surprised it was included even tho i paid very little for the whole package. so im just wondering how much that shaft is worth.

Right now I don't think Mike has any of this old growth shaft wood. That stuff is getting very hard to come by. However, he always has some good shaft wood. You can expect to pay about $200 plus 50-$100 for old growth, assuming you can find any that has no grain runoff etc..

Price reduced to $1250 shipped. Thats the least I'll let this one go for.
I will look at trades on a cuesmith lathe or a piloted Olney.
thanks-jeff

Recently Mike made me a very sweet shaft with an ivory ferrule and a milk dud tip. I can't say that it's old growth but it's superior to almost any shaft you could easily get. He charged me $250 and it was worth every penny. The tone and resonance of the hit is exceptional and needless to say it plays lights out...Tom

Any one that's interested. I am going to be out of town until sunday- PM me and I'll get back with you sunday.
thanks-jeff

I have seen and played with this cue and the pictures do not do the cue justice. The green and red veneers are much richer in person than these pictures indicate and the cue is rock solid. If you are a fan of steel jointed cues this is a great deal. Mike would charge over 2500 for this cue new.

Good Lord....how I DO love the looks of that cue........

Having owned 5 or 6 Jensen cues, I just KNOW that it's a killer player, too.

hmmmmmm....... :D :D

Your right, this cue plays as good as any steel jointed cue.
