i appreciate all the PM's with offers for this cue but it is not for sale ... at any price ...

this cue is more than the sum of its parts - it is an expression of friendship and love and it will stay in my family as a reminder of that friendship long after i am gone ....

I agree and totally understand where you are coming from. Getting a Szamboti in itself is a great joy... speaking with Barry about the cue he is making for you and getting to know a little about him (not necessarily just talking about cues) makes your purchase priceless... He is a great cuemaker and an even better person.... genuine and one of a kind.

Congrats on your purchase.

Wow...Barry looks like he could make a beautiful cue and then go knock fools out in the UFC.

(Cool movie announcer voice): In a world where cuemakers aren't always what they're cracked up to be....Where danger lurks around every corner....and every piece of imported ivory comes with a price... a price that is sometimes paid for with blood. This summer, a movie described by Hollywood Insider Eddie Wheat as a non-stop, action-packed, heart-stopping, thrill ride....Paramount pictures presents, "SZAMBOTI"...where sharp inlays aren't the only thing being cut. Starring James Gandolfini as Barry Szamboti. (Yeah, things are a little slow at work today)

I've played with this cue last Friday nite with Kam. This cue surely hits very well. The sound it produces is music to my ears. ;)

I have too much wood..

Kam: "this is cue no. 511".

Means: your 511th cue ? Or Barry's?
I now have around 100. 90% = firewood. :frown: ..

Very cool player, I love the elegance of a simple merry widow cue. I was always a sucker for those TAD maple player cues. Thanks for sharing.

Take Care

i don't know how many names have shared a place next to the SZAMBOTI on a cue, but am pretty sure there can't be that many ...

there are those who love the szamboti name but i gotta say, i love the Szamboti man !
