alex up 3-0
alex made 2 clutch back cut spot shots to win 2 games

Alex has to make 9 Balls in his pocket to win and Tony only has to make 8 balls in his pocket to win every game.

I'm no expert at one pocket but I thought it was usually the first person to get 8 balls to 7 who wins? Why are they playing as if there are 17 balls in the rack? Or am I missing something here?

Alex is spotting Tony 9-8 so yes, they play like 17 balls, basically Alex starts as though he already owes a ball

Do they spot the ball after he makes it like a penalty? I read something about Scott Frost giving some guy ridiculous weight, like 18-4, and I think he had to break a second rack in the middle of the game. Also, isn't T-Rex a one pocket specialist? I wouldn't think he would need a spot, although Alex is phenomenal at all games.

I’ll take Alex for 200, if available. Fatboy has first shot at it, but I do not believe he took it. Let me know. 👍
I think I bet on Alex too, I need to check. I don’t see a clear winner in this match.

Thx man💪🙏🏼❤️

When you’re playing 18/4 the player spots balls until there’s enough to make up for the overage. 18/4 you need 21 (18+4)-1=21balls in regular 1P you need 15 balls (8+8)-1=15 so scott has to spot 6 balls. And guys his speed can spot pretty good players that much. It’s not a carnival hustle.

No, it's like they're playing with 16 balls, the score can NEVER be 9 - 8 which equals 17. The score can be 8 to 7(both on the hill) with one ball left

Correct - I'm talking in terms of the spot. he spots one because a 9-8 (17) spot is one over an 8-8(16)
