T. Scruggs Cap for JJ's Dad...

1st, My condolences to the Family of Mike Cochran and JJ...
2nd.. let me tell you that this is a post that touches people in various ways.


I was working with Mike Cochran on this very Special Project for the Father of JJ..Who passed away and is a Tribute of Love and Rememberance of his son..

Bob Hergert did the Scrimshaw Portrait..

Ther day after the caps were completed, I was going to call Mike and tell him.
As I checked my morning e-mails, Chi Wai (Mochiwai on Az) e-mailed
me to go and check out the Az Post about Mike's passing..
As with everyone else, I was schocked, and, it bothered me all day and night, and, it still does..:frown:

I tried to call Tim, no answer.. And e-mailed him about the cap status. I know he has more important things on his mind now (Obviously..)
And, if I just mail ther caps to TS's shop, there might not be anyone there to receive it. (Thinking Tim will close shop for a week till everything is settled..)
If JJ's Father is reading this, It's done.. Thank You for getting caps from me.
Tim, I'm waiting for you to tell me what to do with the caps.
I'm also not sure if I am to mail the caps directly to JJ's Dad..

Yes, I got it from the Cue Gallery.. The best photo of that MC logo I could find.

UpDate: I called Tim's shop and Bob will find JJ's Dad's Name and mailing information.
The JJ Cue was sent to him already..
Tim was not in the shop. Bob said he's taking it really badly.

I remember Mike telling bout this cue for JJ's Dad. He told me he bout cried sometimes when he was working on this cue. He was that type of guy! I think thats a pic of my Cochran Hoppe cue in that pic there.

I know JJ's Dad. He's a friend of mine who I've played LOTS of pool with/against. If any of you remember my situation with my 5 yr. old son who was hospitalized last August with very serious complications due to E-Coli, you might remember that JJ's Dad donated a Schon STL-4 to auction off for my son's benefit.

Anyway............please respond to this via PM so I can give you my phone # to call me so I can give you the info you need. I'll respect JJ's Dad's privacy this way.
