Table Rebuild

In the midst of my table rebuild to sturdy up my frame ive noticed that the cabinet itself sags towards the middle. My table is a four leg table and in the middle of this span where the center piece of slate will sit is where it sags. How can i correct this? does the middle piece of slate get shims or should i focus my attention on the cabinet? Thank You - Jon

Post some pics of the frame.
RKC has a method for dealing with sag that may work for you.

I should add that its not a large sag, only about 1/16." I'm just worried that once i put the slate on that it will eventually get worse overtime.

Here are the pics you requested. The first was before i beefed up the frame of the table. The third pic shows a little bit how i've added structure to make it more stable.

I wouldn't worry about the sag with that kind of frame, just shimm the slate to level, it'll be fine;)
