So i took a 8ft brunswick home model table 3 piece 1 inch slate apart, took the dead rubber off, put new rubber on, transporting to new house, and will be putting back together. What would most of you charge for this, i just put standard rubber on, and he wants just the cheap cloth so that cost me $100. Thanks mike

Call around your area, find out what people charge that work on pool tables for a living, then charge about half of that price.

Would be nice to get a serious answer from some people, i originally told him $300 to tear it down and move it, reset it up with new cloth. But when i took it apart the two end rails were rocks, and its missing some hardware. So i told him , he should put cushions on all, not just the bad ones. I didnt think $200 more to recushion was bad at all seeing a have $100 in rubber and glue. But he seems to think im reeping him off. The only billiard guy in town its $150 a rail, which i think is high unless hes putting the best cushion on, and i think he gets $500 to setup a table with standard wool blend cloth.

If he feels he's getting ripped off, walk away. Let him have someone else do the job. I had a guy ***** that I charged him $30 to install a Kamui Clear, I supplied the tip. I told him no problem, cut the tip off with my pocket knife and handed him back his shaft. Problem solved. Brian.

Thats funny!!! That price sounds more than fair to me, I hope you cut his tip off while you were standing in front of him. It seems that some people are not happy unless they can complain about something.
