No, they do not play longer than the Bruswick. But if you are used to the livelier banks of the earlier design then the Blue logo Diamond will play a little longer than one expects. I think the Blue logo's play wonderfully and very true.

Eh, take it it at face value (hearsay). I'm sure you will get yours at the appropriate time. Out here playing conditions (table wise) are lacking to say the least. Enjoy your table when you get it.
