The hit

How does it hit?

Rather than trying to BS you with "hit speculation", I can honestly tell you that I have yet to meet someone who has hit with one of these that did not absolutely love the way they play. Personally, I was never a fan of a stainless steel joint until this cue showed up in my life.

Dang, Danny! You do get some nice cues, sir. :D Are you trying to tell us that that Titlist Tucker plays THAT good?!!! ;) :D

Best of luck with your sale....and yes, that cue is extremely clean looking! Awesome. :)

If you got the bucks, don't miss out on this one from an excellent seller!

I was at a booth at DCC and they had one, so I priced it.
He quoted $2200 and wouldnt wiggle.....

I normally play with Predator shafts, how would a cue like this compare in playability (deflection etc) to a Predator (2nd Generation etc) shaft?

Also what do you mean by "preferred Ring"?

Thanks

EXCELLENT!

This cue has the "Preferred TAD Ring" in the butt. (The most sought after)

How about a brand new unchalked Jerry -R- cue as partial trade?? Built to my exacting specs - look here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=83586

Super nice TAD, Danny!!

I would never even attempt to compare a manufactured mass-produced wood/glue product to a Master Cuemakers shaft. As with other Master Class A+ Cuemakers (there's only a handful) Tad spends years treating and turning his shaft wood, ensuring the taper is perfect (how he knows it will play best), that the wood resonates properly, etc, etc. It is an Art.

I will say this: Tad's don't play like SW. Nor do they play like JW.

SouthWests plays like SouthWests. JossWests play like JossWests.

And TADs? Well, they play like TADs!

Crisp, clean, the cueball leaves the tip quickly and goes where it's supposed to.

Well, fine - if you wanna elaborate that's a very accurate description.

But I thought that's what I wrote already - it plays like a TAD :D

This will have a quite stiff hit, but with feedback - unlike most other SS joints. FYI, Rauenzahn's current half-joints produce a very very similar hit.

I haven't had a TAD in 4 years. Though it takes a while to settle in to a TAD, I do miss the predictability. (predictability >>> confidence)
