That's a nice one alright, looks like its from the 70's. Is there a serial number? What weight is the butt and shafts? What millimeter width are the end of the shafts at the ferrule?

TAD Cue $3500.00/ Forearm picture

To all interested in Tad, I will post exact dimensions asap. Thanks for your patience.

I'll vouch for the seller and/or act as escrow..
well any friend of ross is a friend of mine....killer first post seattle......mickey carroll send cvinal a pm...i think he would be interested....

I was given this cue by Todd Marsh to give full specs on last night....

The cue is literally in mint condition with a few exceptions... I couldn't see any dings or scratches anywhere on the cue other than what you can see on the butt cap. Both shafts have very minor roll to them. When rolling the butt by itself, you can see the joint lift off the table every so slightly - literally less than the thickness of a credit card, but it is detectable. Wanted to throw that out there.

One other thing to note, it looks like the ferrules are tapered - check the specs below. Replacing the ferrules will give you half a mm.

Specs:

Butt - 28.5" 16.6oz
Shaft 1 - 29" 4.0oz 11.74mm (at tip) 12.38mm (at base of ferrule)
Shaft 2 - 29" 4.0oz 11.97mm (at tip) 12.39mm (at base of ferrule)

Tad owners/Etc

First of all thanks for your patience, I jumped the gun in posting without all the specs. I would also like to thank Ross, for vouching and posting ( nice Job).
Chain of ownership is as follows:
* Dan Louie purchased from Tad in 77 or 78
* Larry ------
* Cole Dixon
* Mike Zimmerman
* Todd Marsh
Hitting balls with it yesterday reminded me of how good of a cue this Tad is. Monk used to play with it when he came to Seattle. I've been in many a battles with it in Seattle and Sacramento (Great American Billiards) most who came to play went home a lot lighter. The only reason I stopped playing with it is I need a 60 inch cue. Along with the value, hence. the sale.
