Talisman

I was one of the first to run out and buy an "old" Talisman when they first came out. It was huge and heavy- enough that it really should have had wheels.

The real problem was that after only a week one of the enforcement screws started coming out, a clasp from one of the straps broke, and one of the rubbery sleeves was too tight and gripped so strongly that pulling out a butt meant pulling out the rubbery sleeve, too.

I took a lot of digital pictures and e-mailed them to Tony, and then bugged him every day for a week. He let me keep the free stuff and gave me a full refund for the case.

He was so quick and attentive to the problem, I seriously considered trying one of the new Talisman's when they came out. They looked sleeker and might have been smaller and lighter- I don't know. By then I had an awesome old It's George, though, so I left the Talisman alone.

From my experience, they're good business people and stand by their product. I wouldn't have any fears of buying from them.

and the bugs have been worked out and many improvements made. Talisman cases are a good product from a good guy.

Whitten Cases appear lovely, but seen to be Half Again as much as a Talisman....

There was a 6X3 brand new Whitten on Ebay being sold by the Whitten cue case company themselves that was at $315 the last time I looked. They sell their cases on Ebay all the time, and they are good deals on there. Considering Talisman are only 2X4 I would not be surprised if Whitten would not beat the Talisman price if you deal with them right.
