TAMPA BAY players- ???

I lived there in 2005 and 2006. I played at Strokers in Palm Harbor often. I may just book a flight and come down if the dates work out.
 
I too am in the Tampa bay area, on the Pinellas side. Play mostly at Park Place but also at CMs and Strokers. A monthly tournament sounds great.

Anyone planning to play in the 8-ball tournament @ Stroker's in Palm Harbor tonight? :confused: I'm going to try and get there around 6pm or so, the tournament should start @ 8pm.

Palm Harbor tooooooo far for tonight. Strokers 2 in Tampa got the same tourney? Im definetly playing somewhere tonight.

I don't recognize you from the photo. I usually play at Park Place early in the day, so that's why we've probably missed each other. My play at Strokers was in their straight pool league, and my games were played almost exclusively in the early afternoon, back before they started opening at 3:00.

I don't think Strokers 2 has a tournament tonight.

Hans, I don't know how old you are, but did you use to play in a little poolroom on West Hillsborough (about halfway between Strokers II and the Porthole/Flight Room. Steve Cook used to bartend there sometimes and we played Euchre everyday.

You aren't the Hans that owned Hans Billiards on West Waters Ave. are you ?

Nope, not me on either count. The only other place I played at regularly was West Coast Billiards, over on 4th St. N in St. Pete.

I'm heading to Stroker's PH now to get some practice in and loosen my arm up before the tourney. Stop by and say hi if you're there. :D
