TAMPA BAY players- ???

Jose does a great job at strokers keeping the tables nice and they have good food. I'm probably there 5 or 6 days a week on a good week.

CM's has good players as well but still some of them come to Strokers on Wednesday nights for the competition.

Dan from Hammerheads was telling me about a tournament they do every First Saturday of the month. $30 entry and it's 9ball and 8ball. Hammerheads adds $1000 to the tournament.

Strokers is a nice place. I sometimes wind up there on friday nights to shoot some. The food is fantastic and the tables play real good. That is likely the place I will land when i finally rid myself of Park Place ;-) lol

The few times I have been up to hammerheads, I have been pleased. I sure do love diamond tables.

My wife says I am "proximity challenged", which is probably correct. ANything passed 10 miles is out of consideration in most cases. lol.

If you ever want to jump over the bridge to the Tampa side and get together for a few racks, I'm game.

You know Tony Crosby has a Tour that you should think about playing some time. Saturday is the Open and Sunday is the Amateur.

Last weekend was at HammerHeads, I do love playing on those tables and the tour had a great turnout for the Amateur side with 62 players.

What do ya know, Donnie won the open event. lol ;-) He is playing awful good.

Donnie used to give me the snaps, 7 out and the last 3 for a cheapys at PP many years ago.

I dont like that spot now, and I play a whole lot better now. :-o
 
Dudes, we really need to have a AZBilliards Tampa players meet. Seriously.

maybe on a saturday, or sunday during the day. I got a room we can play free at here in Tampa. Granted it's not the greatest but it has 10+ 9' footers, free table time, food, alcohol, etc.

What is the name of the room? I'm down, I'm usually free saturday and sundays during the day just not this next few cause of the holidays and then jan 3rd we have a Noon wedding to go to.

ditto for me. Im a little booked up during the holidays, but typically weekend days are a good time.

It's called the Break Room. It's in Carrollwood. Used to be called Carrollwood Billiards. Not the greatest but they recently started opening on weekends at 1pm and the place is dead, open tables everywhere.

I've tried several times to get some folks from AZB to get together for some snaps but... have never gotten it done.

sounds good, about how far is that from StrokersII. I don't know where carrollwood is, i just know it's in tampa.

Sure, but my schedule is kinda full right now with christmas & all. Takin the girl to Key West this weekend. We are usually up there on Wed nights, but not for the next week or so.
 
I`m near tampa.I played in tony`s tour last weekend.I have played at every room in the area and many out of the area.
