He Wen is a strong player who paired with Jianbo Fu in the world doubles, they won it 3 (i think) times. one of the interesting fact is that almost all early male players from China do not use the closed bridge and stick to the open bridge exclusively; i think this is due to the popularity of snooker in the early years.
I cant seem to get the steam..all i get is the results in a format that I cannot read....any ideas???

Also I see that Hohmann is playing with Gurel.
I did not think that she was German.

I pick Reyes and Amit 2 face off with the Chinese team.
Too bad we could'nt get a stream going however the photos

Missed Paragraph
As it turns out there was mention of the pairing of the semis
and it turns out that Efren and Amit will play against Si Ming and Li at
1PM and the 11AM match will B Allison and Osborne against Johnny and Jeanette
I think its really hard now to call either of these matches.

I wrote a lengthy post yesterday and lost it all. I will write another one today if I feel up it again.
Highlights:
Efren and Rubilen play like they are one person. They seem to be communicating via telepathy if at all. Rubilen's game is so smooth, pure Filipino magic and matched perfectly to Efren's. It must be a great honor to play with him and a great pressure to be his partner. But she handles it with a level of experience that seems far beyond her years.
Johnny and Jeanette are ON FIRE. They really have a fantastic chemistry going on and not only do they pump each up tremendously they both come with shots in clutch situations over and over.
Allison and Craig and Kelly and Tommy were all struggling. All good players but they never really hit the groove. Kelly and Tommy did beat the tough Chinese team of Liu and Fu after being down.
To me the team to beat right now is Efren and Rubilen. I was joking with them last night that we need to make a Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie mashup name for them, I suggested Efrilen or Rubiren, you pick........
I didn't watch Li and Si Ming except a little in practice and they are just rock solid. So of course with them being in the final four teams they are also huge contenders.
Will discuss the room, the tournament, the styles and all the stuff I wrote about yesterday later. Right now we are heading off to watch the final matches.
