Tapping Ivorine 4...

Since it's well-known that Ivorine 4 can't be cut with anything but carbide,do you have to buy a carbide tap to thread it for ferrules,or just buy them pre-fabbed? Tommy D.

it isnt worth the trouble and wear & tear to tap it
pre-fab all the way
i killed a tap , not for ferrules, but for something else with iv4
