Quick question........

When the score was about 33 to 31 SVB, someone hit Shanes' cue when he was down on the 10 ball. I thought Alex was on the opposite corner of the table from where Shane was shooting.

So i don't think it was Alex, who was it???

Also, some one please take all food away from Billy. His munching during the commentary is really annoying.

Great match, great 6 or 7 pack at the end from SVB.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

Have to agree, I have never heard anything more constantly annoying than the d**n chomping.
 
I was wondering the same thing about Shane's cue getting bumped. It appeared intentional and I think I remember Alex being in his chair at the time. I found it unusual for that to happen in a situation as this. Jay said something like "what was that?" and either I missed the next comment or it was skipped over.
To me it appeared to bother Shane a bit as he took a bit more time before breaking the next rack. To his credit he continued to run out the next game or two. It would have been a shame if it would have sharked him.

I guess we will be able to see it again in about 35 minutes when the 7 rack replay starts.

Great stream! Doesn't get much better than this!
 
I think it was Dippy and he is the guy who staked Alex's side of the entry feed so I guess he thought he had a pass to act like that, it is pretty much not cool to interfere with a player at the table.

I am glad SVB had the stone cold heart to overcome that and keep it going.
 
It was Dippy. I don't think he was trying to shark him. Alex conceeded the 10 and I think he was trying to be funny. It wasn't cool and IMO could have very well taken Shane out of dead punch.

You could tell Shane was a little pissed about it but he shook it off like a champ and kept rolling. At the end of the feed you could see Dave go over and apologize shaking Shane's hand.

It wasn't cool and it had me hot. I made it very clear that kind of shit is not going to happen ever again.
 
Watching the replay it looks like whoever did it actually did it intentionally. Whoever it was wasn't even in the match, and it's a ridiculous thing to do in my opinion. No one in the audience should be getting that close to the players while they're playing.

If whoever did that is actually backing Alex his actions should be construed as nothing less than an attempt to affect the outcome of the match by directly interfering with one of the players, and he should absolutely not be allowed to remain in the audience.
 
If it was Dippy, I agree theat he should absolutely not allowed close to the action. This is a serious match up, not some cheap sets.
