Can anyone give me an unbiased opinion? I ask because I will pay for a quality product but won't throw money in the street.

I have limited "me" time and don't want to waste it watching a "frozen" stream with 2 guys or gals discussing what they ate at the snack bar.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be PPV so please don't start off on a unrelated tangent.

My question(s): Does the PPV stream provide same, better or worse video quality?

Is commentary available for PPV? "Commentary" defined as a minimum of one knowledgeable player who covers strategy, techniques and equipment of the players and only tells unrelated "stories" between racks or when they're appropriate.

Thank you for the information.

this stream is not a tar ppv but free . tar has had very good quality when i have paid for a stream and the other question , well i guess it all depends who is in the booth. but understand i am on the sidelines just like you. i am not a tar representative, ok. you on the other hand have to have a good enough connection to recieve the stream properly and your equipment should be working well also, imho. ywia.

Go for the free stream

paying is not worth it ever.

The only match i'd ever of paid for is the color of money in japan, with strickland and reyes years and years ago.

Cheapskate! :grin-square:

I understand what you mean LENNY , some want everything for nothing ,,,,I dont mind paying to see great pool, I got the us open last week and I tell you if I cant make it in person to see it i will be buying it . I think they do a heck of a job streaming it, Last week I lost it a couple times on accu-stats. And I had a problem paying but it was all paypal, they took out twice but I got through to accu-stats and they took care of it right away. So this might not me the place for it ,, but im telling you I will support the streams...<<ED

It's worth it tomorrow. All proceeds from the stream go to charity.

what ? are you kidding ? i see under your nickname it says ''learning to play''. i think you sould learn more than that sir. do you think the equipment they use and the time they put in, not to mention food and traveling expenses are all free. you must be joking or you are very ignorent.

so it was free yesterday and today it is a ppv for 15 dollars that is going to charity. thats what this event is about. so tar is making a huge sacrifice here and that just shows everyone that tar has alot of respect and consideration to the purpose and to the players and fans always.
