Cue is sold pending payment.

Thanks to everyone for looking.

Special thanks to Mr. Eric Crisp for his unbelievably generous donation. We will not forget it.
I have been of the opinion that Eric is a class act for awhile now. And that opinion keeps getting reinforced. Nice move on his part.

Congrats JCIN...... ....... So how tempting was it to keep this cue?
I REALLY wanted to keep this cue :D

So did everyone that hit with it in Vegas. We had it out and 4 or 5 people did the "What have you got there?" move. LOL

I use a Nikon D80. The lens is around $1700-$1750 depending on who actually has one in stock. It really is an amazing piece of gear.

Well Said

Well Said Kev...I felt the same way after my first conversation with Eric as well!!! A great guy for sure!!!

Kudos also to the person who purchased the cue to help out a great cause as well.

After seeing those latest cues makes me ever so more excited for my ST!!!

JCIN, it has to be difficult to let that one go!!!

As I've known from the very first pm we shared...Eric once again proves he's a very rare individual. A true gentleman thats helps restore faith that there are still indeed good men left in this crazy world. I can feel your Karma loading up Eric....might be a good time to pop for a lottery ticket.
My best to you sir....and the fine men of TAR.

Nice cue. Mine is going to look the same with the exception of different material for ring work and a white w/ brown spec wrap. Oh and it will not have brown collars or a brown butt plate. I should have it within a week from today, Finally. :) I'm very eager to see it. I like rosewood a lot.

A raffle for this cue would be really exciting. I think you'd have no trouble selling 20 tickets at $100 a pop.

$2000 for a plain jane from Eric.. Looks like his prices for plain janes have went up a little again, As expected. $1750 for this one, Someone got a real nice lookin cue.

They are so hard to get and nice looking cues. Now who was it saying that scallop cue at $2400 was too much on that site? I knew it wasn't and so did someone else as they purchased it soon after the mention of it.

It's funny you mention that. That scalloped amboyna cue sat at On The Hill's website, since the Expo concluded. I made mention of it on the forum and that sucker was gone. I knew that could fetch $2400 no sweat if the right people were looking. Seems like a bargain after this leaves town for $1700.

Someone's getting a nice cue. Real nice. I'd be jealous if that pink ivory one wasn't headed my way. :-p

Eric is indeed one helluva class act. Nice donation indeed.

It's like the old joke: "This axe was owned by George Washington. The only things that have been replaced are the handle and the head."

Wasnt that onthehill ST on their site for a while? Months?

The build up to buying that cue was like a slow burn, eh? Then you bought it and now have to sell it again so soon. Brutal...

Thank you Eric from everyone at TAR we really appreciate this. At first Chad and I were going to have a Mexican Flaming Cage of Death match to see who got to keep the cue, but we figured Eric meant for us to use it to improve TAR so reluctantly that is what we will do :D

...

I think this one will sell far more tickets than what the cue will sell for. ;)

TAR has been doing pretty good stuff. Keep up the good work. Eric is a pretty nice guy as well. All props to you guys.

IMO the third cue from the top is beautiful!! Of course the one they are selling now is unreal to me as well. I love the wood combo.
