why not have shane and a partner of his choice, challenge lets say appleton and melling in a format similar to the mosconi cup for a PPV and then you can include the asians and any other country?

Better yet how about the Tarconi Cup?

Shane picks 4 American players and Darren picks 4 European players :)
Same format as Mosconi, but on the TARbeast and make it 10 ball.

What makes the Mosconi Cup exciting is the short races. No room for error. Pressure in the very first rack.

I'd love to see a scotch doubles race to 25 of Europe (Ralf and Darren) against North America (Shane and Alex), best of three (9-ball race, then 10-ball race, and an 8-ball race only if the first two sets are split).
