Rodney Morris seems to be playing very well recently. I wonder if he is interested in matching up with any of the other top pros. I'm interested to see how he'd fare in a long match up with SVB, Deuel, Dechaine, Archer, Earl, etc.

I can pretty much guarantee that if someone wants to invest in Rodney to pay his entry fee into a two-man tournament with a winner-take-all format that no other professional player is off limits for Rodney to play against.

Rodney told me that he prefers long race formats and that no one has ever beaten him in a 15 ahead set even.

I think Rodney is very underrated. When the discussion comes up about the best players in the world, you seldom hear his name, but you should

nothing against Morris because he is a great player but sometime has the tendency to choke or missing a safety because he lost his concentration. I see this tendency very rarely from players of the caliber of Immonen, SVB, Souquet and other players. Also in my opinion there are some players better than him, this doesn't mean he is a bad player, but in my opinion he is not good enough to be THE best player in the world.

This seems to happen with many of the faster pro players, especially when first starting a match. However, when he finds his rhythm and hits his gear, he's world class and hard to fade by any top pro, JMO

Jose Parica told me about 5 years ago that Rodney and Alex were the 2 best money players in the world.
