TAR matches

Justin, as far as I know you have not said that there will be no more TAR DVDs, but if you were entertaining that thought, you might consider selling the rights to your videos to someone else for distribution. Perhaps Pat Flemming would have an interest since he has the experience and connections for that business. That way rather than making zero from past matches by giving up on the DVD sales, you make something, and your fans can still get the past matches that they want. You can focus on your core competency of streaming, someone else can deal with their expertise in DVD sales. Just a thought.
 
Standing request...

.. yup -- due to the fact those legacies DVDs are rarely (if ever) in stock I have a standing "WTB" in the other forum.. AND I will pay a premium over original pricing.. ( for original DVD set with art)... a few people have sold some items.. working towards two complete sets....

PPV is the focus... hopefully some concept will be put in place to make these matches available in the future through TAR or whoever owns the rights for production and distribution...

JCIN how about buying in bulk? Would you produce some for a guaranteed 50 copy order?
 
I was thinking about a prepaid order. Maybe a request link and once you get 50 orders you can accept payment, then make a batch. Perhaps if there are limited runs it will improve the demand.

I'm just trying to think of ways to make DVDs viable. I really enjoy them, but I believe that I am the only person in my area who purchases the DVDs. I may be wrong, but I don't know of anyone else who has one, let alone anywhere near what I have bought. This is a town of 300,000 people with a surrounding area of another 100,000.

There are some guys that buy the PPV's, but if I am the only one in an area this big buying the DVDs then I can understand Justin's frustration. I just hope it can get worked out.

Sorry about that. I get busy and things pile up. No excuse it is what it is. It's one reason I don't want to do DVDs anymore. Just pisses people off and makes my life harder. Hopefully we find a solution in the future that works for everyone.
