Mark Griffin, your great and all. I know you have been around the block and have knowledge however you have two world pros in the room. Please just let them finish talking!

Mark just cant let the players speek. He tries and is getting better but not there yet. Justin has this part correct 100%. He realizes that the players are OCCASIONAL guests and lets them speek, uninterupted because he knows he is the podcast every week and has time to get his views ''out there".

Mark is a very intelligent man and is getting better. I think he will get there and soon, especially if Justin keeps hammering this home to him;)

Mark, this is some "feedback"

Justin should make a title splash, Alaska Stories with a moose logo, and just let Mark ramble for 5-10 minutes each segment. People are going to get bored if the podcast is a straight up news report. Mark's tangents keep it fun and there is usually a valid point in there even if it is unrelated to what everyone else is talking about at the time.

Love the podcasts though they do a feel a bit long when there is not anything signifcant going on.

He's pretty funny. The guys feed of him sometimes, you can't take that out the podcasts.

ITs kinda funny cos Justin has said this before and I also have had experience with this. If you call MG here is what you get "Listen, I don't have time to chat at all I am swamped" I don't know why he pickes up the phone to be honest. Sounds like Justin has the same experience. I am sure that it depends who you are and why you are calling though. Anyway, my point is this. He never has time to chat through the day cos he is too busy and then when he gets to the TAR Studio its like a pressure valve that getrs released and all the chatting comes out at once.

I love the podcasts and although since it has been brought up I have noticed MG interupt a little but hey he can do what he wants and I enjoy what he has to say anyway. Keep up the good work fellas.

not another one of these threads........

the podcasts are great and Mark adds alot of character to the show especially when some of the guests they have can be very unentertaining at times.

keep doing what your doing mark and justin...........

I really like the podcasts but they are getting light twilight zone episodes, I'm so sick of hearing about the "condition" of pool in the U.S.,pool politics, Shane's break, and racking and breaking in general...I'd like to hear more about players cues and equipment they are currently using (do a short what's in the case) during the podcast, ask about past equipment they have had favorite cues and styles etc etc. Get the players to tell some road stories, talk about their mentors growing up, memorable matches, scores, funny stories etc...JMO

i agree, those topics would make for some interesting shows... something to take into consideration for Justin and Mark.

I think these threads are fine, if done respectfully with suggestions on how to better the product. Both Mark and Justin seem open to feedback, which is something I appreciate.

The only issue is when folks get on here and complain, without a reasonable suggestion on how to better things. That is far more tiresome than the issues people complain about in the first place.

Keep on keeping on, mark and Justin. I love the podcasts. Thanks for doing them.

Don't change anything.
Keep everything the same.

Seriously, in the last one we have the head of the ABP and the head of pool in the USA at one table and you want to hear about aiming? If you can't aim, you're not going to be a pro, ever. If you want more pool, leave these two alone to talk (in any fashion they want).

Correct me if I'm wrong but who said they wanted to hear about aiming from anyone? In my view many times everything but pool gets talked about for long periods in the podcasts and that's ok I still watch and enjoy them and also commend all involved for their efforts...I merely made an observation followed by a suggestion and was not trying to bash anyone...thanks

Well Justin has said it several times on the podcast to let them finish talking. Also at the time I posted you will notice several times when JA and shane just sits with a blank stare as in "why are you telling me something I already know".

I love the podcast and what justin and mark has brought to us. I just wanted to point out something that makes it hard for me to personally watch.

Im in professional sales and just hate it when other colleagues interrupt there clients.

Also "feedback" by the way.

Well one thing is the condition of pool is what the podcast was designed to talk about in the first place. If you dont like that then you are not going to like the majority of the shows.

As for equipment I dont have a problem talking to guys about it. I can tell you with certainty there are no big mysteries to be revealed there. The top guys all play with cues most guys who know about cues wouldnt buy because they are considered cheap or production. The majority of pro's I know dont even have that strong an opinion on equipment in the first place or if they do it changes so much as to not really make much sense but I will make an effort to ask them more about in the future.

The last two times we have had players on we asked questions that were posted by by people here on AZ. I didnt make up the questions I just read what people had written. Someone should start a thread telling AZ to ask better questions.

Understandable. I know what you mean. People do not get to hear these guys that often so when they do they want to hear them uninterrupted.

Exactly spot on Justin. Sorry my ears are wide open in hopes to get something special from them. Thats all.

I really enjoy the podcast because they say things that are not your typical "interview" answers.

I agree with you. I have a couple of questions I plan on asking Bustamante tomorrow that I have been wondering about for years.

I think it is perfect,Mark and Justin compliment each other just right for what they are doing.Justin tries to maintain a smooth ride and Mark keeps jumping around.the more podcast's they do the better it will get.when Justin turns to research some emails Mark jumps to fill the time.then Justin gives Mark the what now look.If they take the first 10 min to open the show with promo's and announcements then let it roll, everything should carry itself.
