TAR is excited to present a live interactive interview with current U.S. Open Champion, World 10 Ball Champion and Action Challenge Champion Shane Van Boening brought to you by BCA Pool Leagues and OB Cues. Shane just returned from the World 8 Ball Championships and graciously accepted our invitation to sit down for an interview and question and answer session on our Ustream show.

Join us at 8PM Central/9PM Eastern for a unique opportunity to talk directly to one of the most dominant players in the game today. We will begin with an interview and then take questions from the chat room about whatever topics you like. We will cover the upcoming Action Challenge 3 against former U.S. Open and World 9 Ball Champion Alex Pagulayan, Shane's run at the World 8 Ball Championships and his new cue from Pat Diveney. After that we will open it for questions for as long as Shane has time.

That's great! I won't be able to join, what a pity, due to time difference. Could you place the interview as a podcast at TAR site later?
 
Great idea, Justin. Could be a tricky interview, though. Shane seems to be a man of few words...:cool: He makes Cliff Joyner seem "chatty".

Where's the interview taking place? To my knowledge, Shane is supposed to be in Fort Collins, CO today.

That's strange, i had the chance to talk with him last night, and i've never met him before. He was a real nice guy, and very accomodating to those of us who are stuck in 3rd while he's in overdrive. Must be the timing thing.

After exercising my considerable Google-jitsu ability, I have deduced that the krauts are 7 hours ahead of us hill jacks in Bum F#$% South Dakota.

In other words, you should stay up till 3AM your time in order to see Disco make fart jokes in the chat room....oh yeah....and that Shane dude might talk about pool a little.

It was a great interview, some general chatting too. I like how the fans can log in and ask their own questions and and get the answers to. Thanks to TAR guys and Shane.
