targets in the pocket

This may help some of you pocket balls more cleanly. Use one of those sticky binder ring reinforcements, or a piece of a post it, and stick it to the back of the pocket on line with how you would like the object ball to roll in. Kind of like a target or bulls eye. This seems to give an exact point to deliver the object ball to. It can be centered or off a bit to practice cheating the pocket. Set up shots, practice. If it helps..sweet, have fun. Just don't forget to clean the glue off after:)
 
That's a great tip. I had heard about using those same items to mark spots for balls.

Even better, there is a spot on the cloth that is a good target for all angles of approach. You can aim all your shots to that spot, and not have to change the target depending on whether you are coming from the right or left.
