Tascarella Carolina freaks help cue ID

Word on the street is this is a Tascarella Cue that was made with Carolina Custom. I don't know the history of this collaboration or even if there was one, but I do know the power of AZB. There is no signature or mark of any kind. It looks like the Tascarellas I've owned over the years and nothing like the CCs I've owned.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3 things on this cue I've never seen on a tasc
1. Point that long
2. half splice points that touch at the bottom
3. That type of pin.

Noboby from the Tascarella shop touched this cue.... It is not a Tascarella in anyway and not close to the real deal that was built by Pete.

Thanks guys. Did someone name Travis work at CC? I read on an old thread ages ago that Pete helped someone build cues. Anyone know?

Most CC's have the modified 3/8x10, very few have 5/16x14. Long points, shorter white butt caps, single thin silver ringwork, and recessed rubber bumpers are typical with a thinner butt taper.

The cue in question: long points - yes, shorter butt cap - no, 3/8x10 - no, recessed rubber bumper - yes, thin silver ringwork - no, similar butt taper - no

Supposedly someone from Tascarella helped set up equipment at Carolina Cues and that turned into "helped make" CC cues which is NOT the same.

Many people in this forum incorrectly bash CC as a poor quality cue because of the usual incorrect comparison to Tascarella.

Yet in comparison to many, many other cue brands, Carolina Custom cues are actually underrated playing cues and resold at undervalued prices.

Summary: Probably Not a Carolina Custom cue

Thanks for the info. I've owned a few CCs and I really like their hit. I put one in my top 10 playing cues. I also put 4 Tascs in that column. This cue feels like a Tasc playing wise and not like a CC. I don't have a dog in this race, just wanted so AZB knowledge.

It's absolutely a beauty, glad it hits as sweet as it looks

Except for those crooked inlays right?? LOL!

Well that's a hallmark or CC's work, and explains the price for this cue compared to an equally loaded Tascarella. Not like it's advertised as a Tascarella or with Balabushka parts or anything like that.

I'm a little confused. CC used CNC for all their inlay work. I had a bunch of cues early on in their career and everything looked fine then. I wonder what could have happened later for their inlays to become crooked as a regularity?
