I HADN'T SHARED ANY OF MY NEW CUES IN AWHILE, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THIS ONE. I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT.

KILLER CURLY BIRDSEYE FOREARM, WITH JET BLACK EBONY POINTS AND BUTTSLEEVE. MAPLE, BLUE, MAHOGANY, AND BLACK VENEERS. LARGE MOTHER OF PEARL NAME PLATE IN THE BUTT SLEEVE.

I'm usually not into big pearl inlays, but I like those windows. Leave it to Mr. Tascarella.

IT HAS A VERY CLASSIC STYLE TO IT. I'M THINKING ABOUT HAVING MR.TASCARELLA PUT "FAST N LOOSE" IN THE WINDOW.

I'M SURE THAT IF YOU COULD PRY IT OUT OF MY HANDS, THAT YOU WOULDN'T MIND TELLING THE STORY A FEW TIMES.

can engraving in MOP be done?
 
Maybe one day I can sell all my cues and afford one of those...

Engraving on Cues

Fastnloose,

I probably don't need to tell you if/when you have your special cue engraved, the 'aggregate' demand for your cue will not increase, as much, as if you had not engraved your cue.
However, if in time, you are going to 'pass' the cue on to your son, daughter or close relative, I am sure they would appreciate the cue more than if you hadn't done the engraving. This is a personal decision.
I have turned down a few Bushka's only because of the orginial owner's initials or engraving. The cue is very beautiful and unique by itself.

HAL, I UNDERSTAND, BUT IT'S VERY RARE THAT I SELL ANY CUE, AND A 1 IN A MILLION CHANCE THAT I SELL A TASCARELLA, (EVEN RARER FOR ME TO SELL A PLAYING CUE) I'M STILL THINKING ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO DO. I CERTAINLY WON'T MAKE ANY HASTY DECISIONS, BUT I APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT.

CHRIS, THAT'S A VALID QUESTION. HAVE YOU TRIED TO ORDER A CUE FROM PETE LATELY? IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. PLUS I REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE HOW THIS ONE PLAYS.

sure.. i heard its impossible.. but he has to know what kind of a tasc entusiast you are! :)

if you really really like how it plays, and you really like the cue itself..

then i think you should do it.. :) it will be yours forever reguardless..

I HAVE SOME ON ORDER ALREADY, AND DIDN'T WANT TO BOTHER HIM FOR ANOTHER ONE.

I'M GONNA GIVE HIM A CALL EITHER LATER THIS WEEK OR NEXT WEEK ABOUT DOING THE WORK. I'LL SEE WHAT HE SAYS THEN.
