Not like you have any interest in Petes cues right!! But it wasnt really directed at petes cues,it was more at the seller of that cue anyway. And the markets not bad for the right cues,That gina I got at philly lasted 3 days and went for 4500 cash. There's alot of funny shit going on with certain cues for sale and I dont mind speaking up and saying it like it is. When I was asked at philly about a certain cue makers cues going for outragous prices on ebay I heard he was going to raise his prices,well, those prices were scams on ebay and i dont care how slow a market is,if a cue thats top 5 comes up for sale and no one bids.And yes,it was just a 4 pointer but from what all these bullshit post have been saying it was a steal right?

I have been selling cues on Ebay for over seven years. One thing I have learned is that you never know what will happen when you put up a cue for sale. In the past I have listed cues that didn't get any bids at all, relisted them weeks later and sold them for top dollar. Timing and visibility to the right buyers are huge factors in selling a cue, especially one that goes beyond the $2000 mark, the available market shrinks drastically at that point.

No scam on your part there,it ran its course,my reference was the plain cues just before march that hit over 3000 a couple times there by some other sellers.And yes,its better to hold out,you never know what will come along as far as bidders

Of course.. you will see cues hit a high right before January and right before March. IMHO the reason is people going to DCC and the Hopkins. You need some trading stock.. Plus more importantly, its pool season.
Trying to sell a cue now is like tryng to peddle ice in Canada in January.

I know what went on,some of those sales never happen,just sellers trying to HOOK someone and try to set the market high for cues they are bringing to the shows. Hey Joe,got any Devil's season tickets for sale! They must be pretty hot tickets right now.classiccues said:
