Tascarella Silver Fullsplice Hoppe A modern twist... Just arrived

Relax guy, if you can't accept criticism don't post your cues. Sneaky Petes are full splice and where the "full splice" comes from. I bet dollars to doughnuts you have serious insecurities issues. The cue would have been perfect if not for the inlays, I just don't like them, if you can't accept that it's your problem. And this is a cue and case gallery, not a precursor to what's for sale section.

First it's not my cue (wish it was though :) ), second no need to "relax". I wasn't criticizing your "opinion". You like what you like and that's all well and good. Just letting you know you used the wrong term and categorized this cue incorrectly. A "sneaky pete" is a full splice cue but one that looks exactly like a plain typical house cue but cut in half with a pin installed. Typical house cues don't have veneers. That in itself keeps this cue out of that category.. Add joint collars of any style plus a Hoppe ring and it's way far from a 'sneaky'..That's all I was saying..Also as for your claim the "full spice comes from sneaky pete's", not sure what you meant by that but full splices were being done long before the term sneaky pete. So no need to get your undies in a bunch just trying to clarify...

I had a Scruggs with silver inlays. I love that design element. It's a change from the usual ivory/abalone type inlays.

My "usual preference" is not to have the return points covered on a full-splice. However, if it is wanted by the designer/buyer, then this is the way to do it! They do look exceptional! ;)

Great overall concept Ken! :)

p.s. My undies aren't in a bunch...I figure that's reserved for "wedge" cues! LOL :)

Hey Guys,
I appreciate all the nice words.
I also understand there will be die hard traditionalists that like fullsplices in their purist form.
I wanted a little contemporary twist to my cue. And, I love the way it came out.
I can respect respect everyones opinion.
Lets all play nice:)
Best,
Ken Kerner

Awesome design, this is one of the best looking cues I have seen in years. A very cool twist on the traditional full splice methodology. Very innovative and creative thinking on the design.

Thanks for sharing.
