Funny story about contacting Mr. Tascarella.
A few years ago I was in the market for a cue and called a few makers to check pricing and how long the wait would be.
I called Mr.Tascarella and asked him my questions and his immediate reply was " How did you get this number?" at which point I told him the truth " The cuemaker directory in the back of The Blue Book of Pool Cues."
After solving the mystery he was very helpful. The book had been out for some years then, I guess not too many people thought to look there, or he must of wondered what SOB was giving his number to every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
