Guys -

Does anyone have a decoder ring for some of the markings on forearms of brunswick cues?

I just looked at a Willie Hoppe cue on ebay, and it had a "2C" on the forearms.
I have seen some other number/letters but I am never sure what any of it means or is it just marking.

Does it mean anything? Thanks for any inputs.

Hi Ken
I think it just means that it's a 20 oz. cue and the right side of the "0" is worn away. Just a guess.

Yes, that's it. The Brunswick's came stamped with weight, so that cue is a 20 ounce. It's actually burned into the cue. Since the cue is round, sometimes the stamp doesn't quite make it in all the way.
