Team CSI Back on the road with Strickland & Schmidt

Well I leave tomorrow am early and head up to Vegas first to pick up some things and visit the CSI offices. I'm not sure if we will get out of Vegas tomorrow night as we wont get there til maybe 3 or 4 in the afternoon then we will be doing some workand visiting etc. Who Knows maybe Mr Griffin will buy us a nice dinner at one of those fancy Vegas places :) By that time I imagine it will be too late to get back on the road. We need to be in Tacoma, Wa on Sunday so we will hopefully make good time. I look forward to seeing some AZers that I have met before and also meeting some new ones.

Hey Mark,

Are you sure we're not going to get arrested? I feel like we're stealing at this price. :) I would also like to thank Mark Griffin, CSI and any other sponsors who are making this so affordable.

I know it's kind of late but I have another friend who is interested in the lessons if you're not full already.

Your Pal, Ron (who still doesn't have a nickname :frown:)

Ron, I am on the road right now and just landed for the night. Please give me a call and tell me your friends name and I will make sure that they get in you group.

You will have to wait on the Nickname til we get there and I will set Earl on you :) Careful what you wish for. See you in a couple days.

I took the lesson at Full Splice in Tacoma and all I can say is WOW! This old dog learned some new tricks today. Without going into too much detail I'd like to say the lessons were informative and entertaining from two instructors that had a GENUINE interest in helping me improve. And they both can play a little too. ;)

Thanks to Manwon for hosting the event and serving cold beverages. Also, thanks to Mark and CSI for offering 4+ hours of lessons with two world champions for a measly $100.

Near the end of the lesson John hit me with a perfectly delivered one-liner that I am still laughing about. Mark, please tell him the Photoshop is forthcoming. LMAO

Ron <----was cringing when Earl was telling the story about Jimmy Mataya and thought he was going to get the nickname "Hoogabaw"

Bring the show to Philly

Let me know when you'll be in or near Philadelphia. I will be there for sure.

I wish you could get with Sal Butera at Butera's Billiards in Moorpark CA and maybe Hard Times Billiards in Bellflower and some other places in Southern California.

I would be there in a flash.

Ron
