There have been a few plans proposed to make this happen. Initially 6 stops doing fundraisers for charity and also taking on local teams in a Mosconi cup format. 6 stops on the west coast, 6 on the east Coast and 6 in the Midwest. However the expense of such an ambitious undertaking was just too much. If you think about it the hotel, airfares and rental cars for 8 or 9 people run into the thousands.
With very little funding other than Matchroom who have already spent thousands to just make one event happen (In San Diego) it is an up hill climb. Mark Wilson has told me that he wants these events to generate their own money without having to beg for help and assistance. He also has told me that he does not want pool rooms etc to lose money on these events and make it a 2 way street. This is hard to get done these days but admire that he isn't looking for a handout and that he is not wanting anyone to get hurt financially.
Without his permission I can tell you that there are some plans that are not as bigtime as the original plans to visit a few other places throughout the remainder of the year. These plans are not set in stone yet and still need a lot of work but are at least being worked on.
